OFFICER BRIAN SHAWÂ AT A GLANCE
A Bit of Background
On the evening hours of 11/17/17 Brian was on patrol as a full time officer for the New Kensington Police Department. At approximately 8:00 pm Brian attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle. After a short vehicle pursuit, the passenger fled from the vehicle, a foot pursuit ensued. The passenger opened fire on Brian after fleeing from the vehicle, fatally wounding him.

Brian was known for his compassion, selflessness, integrity, and dedication. His smile would light up a room and his positive outlook on life would turn a bad day into a good one.

Our foundation is dedicated to carrying on Brian's legacy by making donations to continue helping the local communities, first responders, and those in need.
